General Info - Performance Attire
When musicians perform for adjudicators or an audience, they must not only exhibit superb musicianship, but they must also radiate a visual excellence A clean professional look adds to the performance by not distracting the audience from the music being performed. So what is a clean professional look?
Entertainment Corps

  All Band students must provide the following items:

Black band shoes (purchase through the Instumental Music Dept.)
  *
Black socks (no stripes or designs), have more than one pair.
  *
Black shore-sleeve t-shirt (purchased from the Instumental Music Dept.)
  *
Black gloves (provided by the Instumental Music Dept.), wind players only.
If for any reason a student loses or damages any part of his/her uniform, the student will be charged for the cost of the replacement.

Concert Band

All Band students must have appropriate hairstyle, make-up and accessories. This means: No bright colored hair, outrageous hairstyles, costume make-up or accessories that will detract from the performance. Remember, the music is the focus of the performance, not the performer.
    Gentlemen:    The following attire is appropriate for all performances:

Black dress slacks.
*
White dress shirt.
*
Black dress shoes.
*
Black dress socks
*
Black tie or bow tie (optional)
     Ladies:    The following attire is appropriate for all performances:
  *
Long black dress.
  *
Long black skirt with a white blouse (no slits in skirt)
  *
Black dress pants with a white blouse
  *
Black dress shoes (no tennis shoes or thongs)
  *
Black nylons (no bare feet)
No casual attire is allowed (t-shirts, casual pants, casual shoes).

Jazz Ensemble

  All Musicians:
  *
Black dress pants.
  *
Black dress shoes.
  *
Black socks.
  *
White dress shirt.

Indoor Percussion

  All Musicians:    Uniform will be determined year-by-year according to show theme.

Pep Band

  All Musicians:
  *
2007-2008 Entertainment Corps t-shirts (provided by the Instrumental Music Department).
  *
Pants (jeans preferably)
  *
Soft soled shoes (tennis shoes preferably. No black, hard rubber soles ).

ANYONE ARRIVING TO A PERFORMANCE IN THE WRONG ATTIRE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PERFORM!
